Warleigh Weir is a beautiful and serene spot, perfect for a relaxing day out in nature. The lush greenery and tranquil surroundings make it an ideal location for picnics, walks, or simply enjoying the peaceful ambiance. The view of the weir is stunning, especially in the early morning light.

Waterfall level depends on weather, rain it's right up high, summer and dry it falls from height onto the rocks below, has it's pros and cons no matter the time of year. Summer it's busy and nice environment bustling with people, water ph is probably higher for unfortunate reasons! However it's obviously warmer, in the winter, not so busy, higher and cleaner water but significantly colder! Has nice walks in the surrounding areas either way!

fantastic day out for the family. only downside was the lack of parking. but free place to visit we had 1year old up to 66year old so suitable for everyone

We had a great time! Nice place to visit with friends and family , you can do bbq and spend the day . Water is not deep that much , can do canoeing down the river. We had a great time!

Just go! The bloody loveliest wild swimming spot! We went on an overcast slightly rainy day and it was still absolutely beautiful and so refreshing. My boyfriend does quite a lot of wild swimming and he thought it was one of the prettiest spots he’s been to in the U.K. Also very safe and shallow water so I imagine perfect for families :) I imagine quite a lot easier if you had a car (we got a cab from bath) but there is still a good bus route that we saw!

Great spot for a dog walk or a walk with family! Parking is a bit challenging so I’d recommend parking on the main road and walking down. Parking on the road by the Weir would block emergency access. I’m a little cautious about the rail crossing and the emergency access. But that being said, it’s a beautifully maintain spot of land and it’s a real privilege that the public are allowed to go use it!

Beautiful! You can reach it by walking/cycling along the canal or by car. If you want to relax better going early in the morning and week days if possible as very popular for groups in summer and the field close to it is not huge if you want to sit and have a picnic. You can also walk or swim there with caution obviously. Free of charge but at the entry of the field there is a box for coin donation so bringing a pound or 2 to help keep the place tidy and cared for would be nice. If you want to drink or eat there remember to take a bin bag with you and bring your rubbish "at home" as there are no bins in the area.

Amazing Place. Lovely views and the best it's for free. Don't have parking, so you will need to park on the main road. You have to bring your food and drink, as have nothing around. On the day we visited have an ice-cream Truck

This place is if off the beaten track but it’s still very popular with people who like to have a wild swim or a picnic on the banks of the river Avon. It’s all set in a beautiful valley and the weir itself is pretty amazing with hundreds of gallons of water passing over the top. There were a couple of people taking a dip well we were there. With plenty more in the warmer weather,the kids all seem to love it here as it great for family visits. Not much parking though but that didn’t matter to us as we walk here from the Dundas Aqueduct it’s another lovely walk along the canal in this area.
